Individual
Individual Therapy
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing concerns such as:
Anxiety and worry
Life transitions and adjustments
Emotional regulation and coping skills
Social challenges and communication
Executive functioning difficulties
Self-esteem and confidence
Stress and overwhelm
Navigating relationships and family dynamics
Difficulty managing big emotions or challenging situations
Therapy is individualized to each client. Depending on age and needs, sessions may include CBT-based strategies, conversation, creative activities, games, play, and hands-on experiences.
The goal isn't simply to "fix" a problem. It's to understand what is happening, build skills that actually fit your life, and help you feel more confident navigating challenges along the way.
What To Expect…
Starting therapy can feel a little intimidating. You may not know exactly what to say, where to begin, or even whether therapy is right for you. That's okay.
Our first sessions are an opportunity to get to know one another, understand what brings you to therapy, and identify what you'd like to work toward. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
From there, we'll work together to create a plan that feels meaningful and manageable. Therapy may involve talking through challenges, learning new coping strategies, identifying unhelpful thought patterns, practicing skills, or using creativity and play to explore emotions and experiences.
I want clients to feel heard and understood, but not simply agreed with. Therapy is also a place to be challenged—in a supportive and respectful way—to try something new, look at situations differently, and discover strengths you may not recognize in yourself yet.
And yes, there is room to laugh along the way.
